About Lori

I am a portrait and fine art photographer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. If it hadn’t been for my wonderful husband, I would not be a photographer. He gave me my first film SLR camera many years ago and I’ve been shooting nonstop ever since. The best job I have is being a wife and mom. My two favorite men are quite often the subject of my photography.

I love things to be clean and simple, my house, my photography, my website, even my facebook page! I am a self-professed geek who loves scifi, but has a weakness for pop culture. My family roots are in bluegrass and I love listening to any type of bluegrass, old or modern. If I could choose any other profession it would be forensic anthropology, except that I don’t have the stomach for it.

Bottom line, I love photographing people and capturing moments in time that will last forever. I love to listen and observe and strive to capture real life through my images.
